Comments: Imported Walk-in Tubs. Very impressive in appearance, but note the tub shell is acrylic coated and we highly recommend GelCoated tubs over acrylic covered tub shells. The Elle walk in baths have one of the highest step-ins (8″-9 1/2″)* in the Industry. Step-In is very important to note because such a high step-in may create a tremendous challenge for users with mobility issues. It is a framed walk-in tub imported from China. Sold throughout the U.S. *We have found the step-in may be lowered slightly by removing toe kick panel if installation allows for such adjustment.
